Before joining AESL Consulting in 2022, Amber worked as an attorney and utility professional, representing energy companies in regulatory and legislative proceedings, including energy infrastructure permitting and ratemaking proceedings.  

Amber has extensive experience in the natural gas sector and has worked with numerous clients on a breadth of issues from buildout of pipeline infrastructure to the development of new emissions-reductions policies.  Amber enjoys working with clients to build relationships and navigate the complexities of the regulated utility arena. She has served as the Chair of the Administrative Law section of the Minnesota State Bar Association and as Vice-Chair of the Minneapolis Clean Energy Partnership.  Amber received a B.A. and J.D. from the University of Minnesota.
